Anyone know of a great shipper that does farm/ranch hauls? I will be moving from CO to TX next year and have 5 Arabs and about 25 minis to move.

Anyone looking for a nice Pelham bit? It's the bit Jack Brainard recommends for western dressage. :) $30 includes shipping. 5"
Samantha L. replied:
First, the leather pieces on the outside are called converters or adapters. When removed, if you hook your reins to the larger rings, it acts like a snaffle (direct rein). When you hook reins to the small bottom rings, it would act like a leverage bit (can be more severe). You can use 2 sets of reins and use both types of action, depending on what you want the horse to do. With the converters on, it sort of spreads out the pressure (a little of each). Here's a link: http://horses.about.com/od/choosingandusingtack/p/pelham3.htm
Elaine W. replied:
Jack has his own version of a Pelham on his website and sells it. http://www.jackbrainard.com/catalog/item/3485617/3708049.htm
Samantha L. replied:
And I've been to 2 of Jack's clinics and he goes into quite a lot of detail about bits and did not mention any thing about CERTAIN Pelham bits being problems. He just said, "get yourself a Pelham...that's what I use."

Bon Hubbard is a commercial transporter I have used many times. Top of the line semi tractor trailers with air ride. Large box stalls. Absolutely excellent care. Every time my horses have stepped off the rig looking like they just got on. Top notch care!!!! Experienced horse people hauling!!!! Insured and follow DOT regulations. For a haul THAT long- pay the extra for a REAL PRO in an Air-Ride van- I have shipped very high-dollar broodmares MD-TX with Equine Express and they have 2 drivers who rotate driving in each rig. www.equineexpress.com
