B&B recommendations less than a day from Pittsburgh? Does anyone have any B&B recommendations that are within a single day drive of Pittsburgh? The closer the better but...

You should check out some B&B’s on the Great Allegheny Passage trail. I’m sure you could drive to these little towns they are in.

Not a BnB, but private cabin in the woods with wood burning fireplace and hottub...Old Man's Cave Chalets / Hocking Hills / Logan, Ohio. About a 3.5 hour drive, South of Columbus, not far from Athens (Ohio U). http://www.oldmanscavechalets.com/hocking-hills/romantic-cabins/

Since other people are suggesting places a few hours away, I will also add[ Inn at Westwynd Farm in Hummelstown](https://www.bedandbreakfast.com/pa-hummelstown-innatwestwyndfarm.html) (right next to Hershey Park). It's a big house on a farm, with lots of friendly cats, horses, and I think a donkey or two. Great homemade breakfasts, too, and it's done up very prettily for Christmas.

[Stone Gables](https://stonegablesinn.com/) in Cleveland is fun! Ohio City is a nice area to hang out. It's about a two hour drive.

I just stayed at Gateway Lodge in Cooks Forest and def. recommend them. Breakfast is included in your stay each morning (for an add.10 dollars.) But my gf and i loved the food. The weather is changing a bit so outside activities are limited for some, but the place is great. Almost all rooms come with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Super clean, quiet, coffee and snacks in the main room. We also hit up a local moonshine distillery and had a few samples and bought a few things (spicy pickles and some apple pie shine).

There is a vintage motor lodge with small cabins near the Somerset area on Lincoln Highway, it was popular in the 1940 s when people used to go for leisure drives. Really affordable and unique. I had the best experience there and there is a lot to do in the area (including caving!). At least worth a Google. It's called Lincoln Motor Court.
