Wow. All of you need to do your research before choosing a chimney guy. ONLY USE CSIA CERTIFIED SWEEPS. Americanchimneyservice.com has the MOST amount of certified techs in the state with an A+ rep with the bbb and the top rated chimney company on Ang ie's list. Some companies may SEEM good, but if you are not educating yourself as a homeowner BEFORE choosing a contractor, you can easily be fooled. PLEASE do your due diligence people. CSIA.org is a great resource as well as the National Chimney Sweep Guild. And yes I am a chimney contractor and yes I would love to help you with any issues your home may have, but it's more important to me to get you INFORMED & EDUCATED as to what may or may not be going on in your home.

Douglas Lee - using the link you provided, the first one I found in a search also happens to be our wonderful oil burner guy. I've never used him for the chimney, but he's been great with dealing with "Moby Boiler", our vintage 1926 boiler with vintage 1970's burner.
