Can anyone recommend a company for smallholding insurance - thanks
Ruth W. replied:
Country Smallholding is an excellent publication and carries many adverts relevant to holdings of less than 50 acres.
Avril W. replied:
Cornish Mutual are good.
Yvon A. replied:
Try Cornish Mutual to see if they will insure you- I was finding my public liability and buildings insurance for a small pony yard soared from £100 to £450 with NFU a few years back- they seem to only cater for bigger farms now :( Moved to Cornish Mutual and had reasonable quotes ever since. Worth calling xx www.cornishmutual.co.uk

Hi, can anyone recommend a young driver (17 nearly 18) insurance company that is reasonable? Quotes for a 1.0 micra valued at £500 are coming back at over £3500+
David C. replied:
Try Adrian Flux
Steven H. replied:
The AA do one based on a black box. No idea how competitive it is. There is a compare site for black box insurers. Not sure how good it is. http://www.comparethebox.com/
what's a good insurance company for lowered cars? I have been ringing around today and the lowest they all said they would insure is 50mm
Mark P. replied:
Welp, this is what I got when I went to their site and clicked "modified car", ignored the callback button and clicked "get a quote" instead. https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/quote/callback/ I could swear blind I've had online quotes come through from them, though, so perhaps they DO at least give estimates through comparison sites?
Whats the best and cheapest insurance company that anyone would recommend for me at the age of 19? Getting some ridiculous quotes for my renewal this third time around....
Any suggestions for who does good bodywork? I got a estimate from my insurance company that I don't plan on going over. Its just new paint and a crack in the front...

Fae B. replied:
Try Aged Concern ... they should have a list of suitable insurers xxxx
Annette P. replied:
Do you know - I think Age Concern recommend Free Spirit. That rings a bell with me.
Annette P. replied:
Try Free Spirit Travel Insurance. They are good. I have problems with BP; Cholesterol: Thyroid; Gastric Reflux; Asthma and of course HH and there was no problem at all and not as expensive as most who up your insurance once you reach 70. That did not amuse me at all as the previous firm I used for several years nearly doubled and when I queried it they said I was more likely to have a claim. I stuck with them so they could look back and see my meds hadn't changed but got Free Spirit through a link in KLM when I booked flights.
Margo M. replied:
South Africa is clearly different - I have 2 life & disability policies and have not had a problem with Travel Insurance. I use TIC - Travel Insurance Consultants
