Shawn Golemba at Valley Vision is amazing with kids! He has gone through extensive additional training and has special equipment for testing kids eyes. He caught my daughters vision problems at only 9 months old! Highly recommend him!

Valley Vision gets my vote. Their attention to eye health and safety is second to none. Friendly professional staff, no pressure to purchase anything after your exam and from what I've seen they are very kid friendly. we are lucky to have such a wonderful place in Port.
Need eyes checked and only found two optometrists in Port. Oceanside Valley Vision and Iris Optometrists..... any input on these before I make an appointment? Thanks

Valley vision was highly recommended by my eye specialists in Victoria. thanks to Dr Golemba there, he "saved" my eye site, after I had torn my retina's. They are top of the line all the way. Iris's is also good. Once you have a prescription you can go to either or and find the best pair of frames and best price. If you believe your eyes are worth the quality, stick with either valley or iris for all vision needs. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/eyeglasses/walmart_vision.html
