Dr Steven Groves. I love him, he really cares and gives you options on choices. I will never go back to the animal hospital clinic in pc . I will tell you the killed my dog, and I paid for all the xrays and a lot more and still my girl suffers 3 year. I say this from my heart as a warning . No matter your choice.

Bright Cross Animal clinic, no doubt about it! We had been to a few local vets and no where have we or our pets been treated as well as we have been there. They have now been our vet for 11 years, and we would never dream of going anywhere else. Good luck in your search. Finding a quality vet for your pet is just as important as finding a quality dr. for your family!

I have and always will go down to lemon bay animal hospital. 941-474-7711. They do everything there including boarding should you ever need to do that it is comforting to know your dog is at the same place that knows his history. Especially as he grows. Dr Amy Debolt is just the most wonderful vet, I can't say enough about her and how much she truly cares about the animal. My dogs went there for 13 years and if I ever get another dog I will stilll drive to Englewood.

Are you looking for just check ups and shots, that kind of thing? Or so you have a sick/injured one now? Toledo Blade has been great for routine things. If you need something NOW, the ER Clinic in Port Charlotte is nice. Excellent staff, a bit pricey. I've heard Englewood works well with clients on expensive stuff. They would rather fix the animal than wait for all the funds.

Dr. McDonough at charlotte animal hospital. Our dog broke her leg near her knee and our prior vet wanted to amputate, Dr. McDonough fixed her right up for us and since the surgery was so expensive he donated her meds to us. Very compassionate vet and staff!

Yep. It's kind of like being married to a rock star. Everywhere we go, somebody spots her and comes running over. "Dr. Blue! Dr. Blue!" We get snack baskets, tickets to games, restaurant gift cards - all kinds of stuff - cuz they just love her! M any of them point out to me how lucky I am, and I agree with them. It's kind of neat - she sometimes questions whether she has done anything of value in her life, and I have to point out that it's not just the animals she's taking care of - she blesses the whole family in doing so. Anyway, more rambling than you needed, LOL! Sorry. ;-)

Dumb little story - once, back when I worked at Southern Methodist U, I was in the library and heard over the intercom, "Dr. Blue...paging Dr. Blue." I started looking around, thinking, "What? Why the heck is Ann here, in the SMU library???" Then, of course, I realized they were paging me, but that's how ingrained it is, with people always seeking her out!:-)
