WINGS takes in wayward neglected Boys. Highly Successful Caring program. United Way offers many donated items.. free medical fixtures even ramps, and handicap assist devices like wheelchairs, camides, insulin needles, breathing machines, adult sized pull ups. They are also a add on to DHS for emergency bills etc. <3 The P.H. schools offer warm meals all summer long. YMCA offers Scholarships for the poor or disabled to get strong. Free childcare-daycare is offered through DHS for working mom's to afford. MRS, a division of Michigan Works, helps some handicapped get jobs and devices. There's the Greatest NEED however for an OPEN Food Pantry 7 days a week, there's many working poor hungry people! A Great NEED for More SHELTERs and BEDs!!!! There's currently less than 50 BEDS. .in a town of 40,000..and a county of roughly 159,000. One is a Domestic Violence for maybe 15 families.. and one very small Men's Shelter. Even the Sick and Disabled have to leave at 7:00 am and can't come back til 7:00, if there's room that night.. Which to me, is pure evil!

I have bred and shown Sibes and as I told every expectant buyer. Huskies are extremely independent and high maintenance. You need to crate train him so that the crate becomes his safe place. Ours are trained that every night we just say "go to bed" and all 3 head down to the kitchen, open their doors and go to their own crates. This was a necessity at all times (except when the females were welping as they wouldn't stray far from their pups.) We have one girl that will open the cupboards pull stuff out and surround herself with all the goodies she can in the living room (she pulled a lg bottle of Oceanspray out and up into a chair once) The best advantage of crate training is it gives the dog their own space. as for some of the above comments, Thinder coats don't really work for Huskies and baby gates stop working after their about 3 months old. (by then they can jump or climb em) adult huskies need 6' fences along with at least a 1 ft underground barrier (they will dig under if they really want out.) Other things are exercise...exercise oh and did i mention, exercise...a tired husky is a good husky.
