Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic does boarding and daycare and we work with each dog one on one! I would highly recommend our program! You can go in and take a tour too! There is a kennel area with 8 kennels, a large gymnasium style play room and a fenced in outdoor area for potty breaks and fresh air!

Which is the best jeweler for honest appraisals in the Port Huron/Saint Clair area?
Larry L. replied:
http://www.lawrencejewelers.com/ You don't serve a community for over 40 years by not being honest.
Stacey F. replied:
Coughlin Jewelers in Saint Clair gets my, vote as well. I have been to all of them. I am very comfortable with Coughlin's, their staff, service and selection. Also, if they appraise your piece, they will clean it for free, for life.

If you stop in our store on Lapeer Road, Floyd Family Furniture (formally Emorys Furniture) we have Dougwood, a father & son that have made more than 3000 pieces for us. We have some examples in the store, we give free, no obligation estimates and build with pine, poplar, oak, maple and cherry. We have a FB page and web site that tells about us. Hope to meet you. FFF 3310 Lapeer Rd. PH 810-982-3310 thanks for the opportunity.

Wendy Holmes is spot on with that suggestion. They take great pride in their work. I would also consider a drafters chest. They have several drawers that are about 3" deep and 3 feet wide. The size of draft paper. Check out a Office Supply store, or on line.

Rick Currie is a master goldsmith. He does amazing work! My mother had a custom ring made from my great grandmother's anniversary diamond ring and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. He took the stones from the setting and then put the value of the gold from the original setting toward the new one.Everyone that sees it compliments on how gorgeous and unique it is. Truly one of kind.

I had a diamond from my great grandma passed down to me. I took it to Coughlin Jewelers in St. Clair. They did an amazing job at finding the best setting. Still had the sentiment I wanted and it looks vintage and beautiful. smile emoticon

Brothers, I need pick up a new Masonic ring, my old one went for a swim in Lake Huron. Can you recommend a good local jeweler?
Ernie R. replied:
Nick's Jewelry Jewelry Retailer 1 review on Yahoo 21905 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080 Cross Streets: Near the intersection of Greater Mack Ave and Avalon St (586) 776-6620 It's a drive from Port Huron to St. Clair Shores but Nick's Jewelry was owned by Illustrious Sir Bill Petrocy (Past Potentate and Past Master too) for a number of years until his accidental death (along with several other brothers) on a hunting trip. Owned by his family now. It's been a while but they always had a good selection of Masonic Rings.
Anyone in the area ( or in Michigan) do small hand soldering work? Like jewelry boxes and things?
Looking to work with a local artist on a custom project.

Hi everyone, does anyone know of a place or someone who watches dogs for the elderly when they have to stay in the hospital? please let me know if you do,Thank you. ps...
Stacey F. replied:
Suzanne Reale Sturdavant owns Suzi's Bed and Biscuit. She does in home dog care visits, as well as boarding. I believe you might be a bit out of her area, but I cannot recommend her enough. If she had openings, I am sure she would be more than happy to accommodate you at her boarding facility. Her prices are very reasonable and her kennel is top notch. However, it is her loving and giving personality that make her a star. She has such a passion for animals. My dogs are like my children and I would not hesitate to board them with Suzanne. You can find her business on Facebook. She is also license and insured. She is a great asset; especially when someone is trying to heal and needs to know their pets are well cared for.
Are there any stores that sell jewelry making materials?!
