I would call back Save a Pet and complain. Maybe there is something that they can do, especially because he was neutered. If not baby wipes and then maybe a dry doggie shampoo. I know Pet Smart is open and maybe they can help. Maybe they can even help with the grooming aspect if you explain the situation.

We have our Goldendoodle groomed at The Groomery in Stony Brook by Melissa. He looks more like a Retriever than a Goldendoodle. Friends of ours used her and recommended her for their Goldendoodles (who did look like a typical Goldendoodle) before they moved to Florida.

We use Setauket Groomers; the owner, Elizabeth, is fantastic. In fact, our one dog who is almost 16 has been going to her since she was a pup. We tried a couple of places, but our dogs were truly happy when they were with her.
