As someone who has worked many events and weddings, I can not emphasize, bold, and underline those two enough. Professionalism, equipment, song selection, and even the look of their set-up is top-notch. WEBSITES: DJ Z - www.dj-zentertainment.com DJ Levi Harshman - www.LeviHarshman.com

The best around is DJ Tone Capone! He’s been DJing over 25 years and he knows his stuff! Highly professional, extremely vast knowledge and selection of all music and genres. Where's the best place to buy instruments on a budget? My kids are doing band this year and are in need a flute and clarinet. TIA!
Zach J. replied:
Mainline Music is the best! Rentals are affordable and you're supporting a local business. And also, especially with them starting music, most students don't stay with their first instrument, some choose to switch.
Edna V. replied:
We rented at Mainline Music in Port Orchard. They're open everyday, there's no deposit, friendly, and local. Great prices too!
Debi S. replied:
You can rent them from the school for $60 a year. We have bought used instruments at Mainline Music.
Heidi B. replied:
Mainline music here in PO or Ted Brown in Silverdale. When we bought my sons we asked the teacher. This was in Cali but he helped us find a great one at a pawn shop. If you are going to get one on ebay, Craigslist, or pawn shop I would ask the teacher about brands and such to look for.
Vicki V. replied:
We started out renting instruments, eventually found both a saxophone and a trombone at Stokes Auction for very cheap.
Laurie W. replied:
Mainline downtown Port Orchard..

Kaetlynne Henke
Ruth B. replied:
Thrift store, ebay, craigslist, pawn shop, or wish.com may have some.
Hey all! I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good, local wedding band. Thank you!
Jill D. replied:
I don't think they're local to Kitsap, but I shot a wedding last year with a fantastic cover band, Roemen and the Whereabouts. They played everything from oldies to current hits and got lots of guests dancing. https://www.thewhereaboutsband.com/
We just moved to PO a few months ago. Is there a trivia night, live bands? What would you recommend to do for fun things locally? I moved from the east coast and we both...
Donna Z. replied:
Also check out/join Master Group page on Facebook. It has lots of local entertainment on it.
Patti W. replied:
This coming Friday at The Manchester Pub is Octoberfest. Karaoke starts at 9.

OK another outreach effort - I am looking for a DJ preferrably who is reasonably priced with some older music my residents would enjoy for event this Saturday, July 16th...
This is a last effort, I lost my wedding band and haven't been able to find it. If anyone has come across a white gold wedding band please pm me. I believe I took it...
Donna Z. replied:
Matt Flores there are 2 in PO. One at the mall next to Goodwill and one downtown next to the Swimdeck. Hope you find it.
Anyone know if there's live music at a bar around here tonight? Saw a great band at whiskey gulch last night and it made me want to experience some more music!
Rebecca C. replied:
Try The Manchester or Moondogs. They usually have live music on weekends.
