The reason we try to encourage parents to stay in the waiting room during treatment is because the dental chair mimics a stage, Where the child can perform for the attentive parent. Not only that but children feed off their parents energy so if you're nervous, the child will be too. Understanding the reasons for the rules may help you feel more at ease. My office (Lindquist dental for children) allows parents to come back and watch if they are so inclined.

We've had a great experience over the years with Kitsap Kids Dentistry in Bremerton and have always been able to go back with our daughters.

Dr. Costa here in port orchard. She is amazing and so is the staff with kids. They even let my 3 yr old sit on my lap while they did his cleaning. And when he had enough they stopped. Each time they have gotten a little further into the cleaning. Making him feel safe and in control. They also give tokens for a toy machine after. All 3 of my boys love them. And they have had to have fillings and extractions (getting ready for braces). Kept my kids calm and comfortable.

Not Dr Block she was really rough with my 3 kids and my 4 grandchildren... We didn't know for a long time... Because we were NOT allowed to go back with the kids... But once they were old enough to explain what was happening to them.... We quit going there...

Lindquist dental is good for pediatric dentistry. My daughter has been going there since her first tooth came in, and she is 4. I am still able to go back with her. There is a location in bremerton and gig harbor. Also, I like kitsap children's clinic for pediatrician.

Dr. Block in gig harbor is wonderful. Both my kids love it there.

My kids liked Karlie Gaskins on Mile Hill so much that they would rather go there than Kitsap Kids Dentistry (and if you have been there you know what a big deal there Ipads, treasure vending machines and movies in every room are!) Our previous dentist said my 5 year old had one, maybe two, cavities that needed filled right away. We took him to Karlie for a second opinion and she said there were no cavities, maybe a weak spot if anything that we could watch.

For a pediatrician I very highly recommend Dr Jenny Chow at Silverdale Women's and Childrens. She is just wonderful!

Pediatrics Northwest in Gig Harbor is a wonderful practice. We see Dr. Kregenow, but everyone we have seen there is great.

Dr Mike with dr Costa are great! They always let me go back or not with my kids. No issues at all. They are amazing!

My two oldest (8 & 5) and I go to Dr. Makadia at Healthy Teeth Dental. The work areas are open so I can see them any time I want. While they are working on me, the kids can play in the lobby & "check on" me as needed. They get tokens for the toy dispenser afterward. He is really good about explaining to kids about what he does & how to take care on their teeth.

Dr. Bock and Hutchinson are awesome! They are here in Port Orchard.

I take all three to Karlie Gaskins on MIle Hill in PO. She has kids the same age and is always great with them. I also really like her staff.

all 6 of my kids have gone to Dentistry for Children on Pottery for YEARS. In fact we just had a couple check ups today. All of my children like the doctors at this practice and the staff has always been great with us. Drs. Jeff or Katrina Hayes and Dr Michael Becker....we have seen all of them!

We used to use Kitsap Kids Dentistry but they told us Gabe had one, possibly two cavities and there were no detectable cavities at our second opinion appointment and haven't been any in the three years since then.

Lindquist Dental. There is an office in Gig Harbor and Bremerton. My daughter goes there (has since she was 1), and when she started there was on Apple Health. They have always been great.

Kitsap kids dentistry or the one in the woods across from Fred myers. All my kids see Jesse Banks at kitsap kids and my step daughter sees Katrina at the place across from Fred myers in Bremerton. We all have apple health. Also peninsula community health takes apple health there's a dental clinic in port orchard and Bremerton
