Does the cat need shaving? The local vet does. Unfortunately cat skin is paper thin and can be cut quite easily with any movement. I used to shave them under sedation at the vets but now that I am out on my own, I just stick to doggies. Try Pirie Vets. And it is still a "no" even just for a bath and brush out. Again, the vet would be your best bet.
