I've had great success with [High & Tight](https://www.highandtightmaine.com/) - very convenient location and online reservation system too. I have some friends that swear by [Men's Room](https://www.mensroomsalon.com/), but they are on the pricier side. [Momentum](https://www.momentumportland.com/) and [Cliff's](http://cliffsbarbershop.com/) are newer to the area and I haven't tried them out yet. The last guy I had gone to for the longest time, Ben@Old Port Barbershop, had recommended Cliff's when he closed.

I’ve been going to momentum for about a year and they’re great. I don’t have a beard but will get a straight shave every one in a while. I know they do well with beards. Heard crows nest is good too

I go to Goodfellas now in Westbrook so it's easier to park, but disclaimer: they always seem to be quite busy, and it's cash only ($25 for a haircut w/o a beard cut, $30 with a beard). They're definitely professionals though and seem to be cool people. The owner, Harry, is a rad dude.
