Also, there's a new number card game called Fuji Flush. Not sure if it's good with kids, but I think the rules are pretty simple enough to grasp. You can also try looking for this reallllly old game called Stupide Vautor. That's a pretty neat and simple math game too:D

Ingenious for pattern recognitions. Hey, that's MY fish! for positional awareness. 21 without the 10 s and facecards helps with carrying/regrouping. Chutes and Ladders is pretty good for early kids too. Might be able to get them to play Patchwork as well.

I totally recommend khanacademy.org ! The videos are pretty short and great for review or learning from scratch. Got me through all my college math (and chem) with an A!
I need a math tutor, someone who can help me one on one so I can get this algebra crap down, my teacher really sucks at teaching

Math tutor I'm interested in becoming a math tutor at the Lindgren Math Tutoring center on campus. Does anyone know where I can apply? Careerlink only list openings for...

The tutors at the math tutoring center are MS Math/stat students with assistantships given by the department. The location open for applications though is the SI instructors/tutoring (you can lead an SI course or work as a tutor as an undergrad student/grad students who do not have department assistantships). Note however that they 99% likely know who will be working for Fall already, so your bet would be to keep tabs on dates and possibly apply to work in the spring.
