Hi r/Maine, I am in trouble. Does anyone know any good traffic lawyers in the Portland area or have a suggestion how to find one?

I have had 4 atny's working for me in the past 5 years for various things (personal injury, family, and ssdi). Each of them I did just what you are doing, asking people around who to go to. I have found the better lawyer's don't need to advertise their services, if you spend money on marketing, you don't spend it elsewhere. [MartingDale](http://www.martindale.com/) is a lawyer rating system and that can give you a baseline for each person someone recomends to you. If you have the time, most Lawyers offer 1 hour of free services to 'try before you buy' in the area...

Bernstein Shur is the best firm in Maine IMO. They have offices in Augusta and Portland.

I like how everyone in this subreddit jumps on board to upvote and show support for some terrible instagram-esque sepia-toned picture of a sidewalk/building in Portland, yet downvotes and silences somebody who is just asking a simple question. * * * Anyways OP, any criminal law attorney should be able to help you. I found my lawyer by reading about him and his partner on a news site and they've worked out quite well every time I need them.
Brian C Hawkins Esq PA 21 Deblois St, Portland, ME 04103 (207) 774-5327 Is a good all around lawyer that has handled a lot of my friends traffic issues.
