One of my potential new clients is looking for a personal trainer. Do any of my local friends and family know of someone they would recommend? Client lives in Rockville.

I agree with the food allergy suggestions. I have been dealing with the same problem with one of mine. I think 99% of the dog foods have chicken or chicken fat in them. Even the foods that say " chicken-free" often have it somewhere in the ingredient list. In my case I switched to one of The Honest Kitchen recipes and in a matter of days, her ear infections, scratching, digging and licking stopped. Also her anal gland problems stopped as the anals are part of the skin, believe it or not. A word to the wise, if you choose one of these pricey foods, check out Amazon.com and find a distributor that will ship the food to your door each month. You can save 25-40% over a retail store purchase. Good luck.

These are things I would try. Change the diet to no grains, one protein, you can try Instinct Kiibble they have a one protein turkey. Or look on the site I added at the end of the post and go raw. There are so many choices now with raw dog food and it is easy to use and store. I buy patties but if you go to a holistic dog food store, try Bark up on Rockville Pike, they have a huge selction. Start giving the dog coconut oil maybe start a teaspoon and go up to a tablespoon. I would try this for a good 6 to 8 weeks before you might see a change. Just doing this can make a huge difference. If it does not there is a holistic vet in Bethesda, mine was amazing she just retired out here in Howard County. Their site http://vhcdoc.com/wordpress, they are called veterinary holistic care number is 301-656-2822. This is the web site for raw food ratings if you have not already tried this: http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-reviews/raw/ I just started using a mobile groomer who I really like not sure if she goes out to Bethesda but her website ishttp://www.angelicpawspetspa.com/Home.html I have a friend who lives in Kensington and uses a mobile service if you want that name as well just message me. I cannot stress the importance of diet.
