Lori DeAngelo Hutchinson if you are looking for a mechanic you can trust and not be worried that you will be overcharged..I would encourage you to call Del at Del's Automotive Service in Suquamish 360-598-3433. Kitsap has some great mechanics and I have gone to many of them...but the piece of mind and level of service I have received over the last 8 years of taking my vehicles to Del...let me just say...a good mechanic is worth their weight in gold! I have dozens of examples...but here is one that is typical of Del...a few years back when I worked on the base in Keyport, it was late fall and I had a co-worker, a young mother with a toddler with a car that had no heat. I overheard her distress after calling a mechanic in Keyport and being told that the minimum charge would be $150.00 just to diagnose the problem. I told her I could call my mechanic and run her problem by him...Del answered and said...bring it over and I will take a look. She followed me over and within 5 minutes...she was on her way with heat...cost $20.00. Another time I called Del because I was scared to drive my vehicle...(I think it was my clutch) that was hitting the floorboard .He saved me a lot of money and a towing bill...by talking to one of my co-workers who then took me to get the fluid I needed and talked him through where to put it etc...so then I could drive it over to get repaired. Another time he replaced a windshield for less than my deductible and it saved me not having to go thru my insurance. Wherever you decide to go...wish you the best!

You could post on Craigslist.org looking for someone local. The brake fluid would be my first item to be done, and I've helped my husband do it before and it's not that difficult for someone with general automotive experience. I cannot imagine any of those flushes are imperative, though.
