We live in Kingston (near Port Gamble). She has walked our property and assesed every, single tree. It gave us peace of mind. Doug Field of "Field and Forest" 360-638-1768 . He's up in Hansville. I had him take down several large (120') fir trees in November. They had to climb up several of them to top them first so they wouldn't hit the house or outbuildings. He's not a very big guy, so he can go waaay up there and bring the pieces down safely. Good crew, very professional, listened to what I wanted, and did exactly that.

I second Timberline Tree Care -www.timberlinetreellc.com We needed a tree service a few weeks back. Called all the local places and left messages, but nobody called back (seems to happen a lot around here) except for Megan. Lucky for us because she is wonderful. If you need an arborist risk assesor then Kt Bigelow is the best.

Jon Lee, Cascadia Tree and Matt Sherman, Arbordynamics are both very good insured and bonded companies as well. Ben Belgarde is very skilled. Peninsula Tree is awesome. J&J Tree Service is super efficient, and real stand-up guys. Ben Brauer is legit, and works with a good crew. Scott's Tree Service is very experienced, has been around a long time. Scott Kelly is a jack of all trades, good esp for combo jobs (tree + roof problems, land clearing). Darrell Emel has neat toys like cranes. Waags have a big following, and I hear they are good but have never worked with them
