I recommend a trust and not a will. Your goal should be to avoid your assets going into probate if both parents pass away. We used Douglas Brackmann at Wesseling & Brackmann. It was $1200 (which may have been a special price through our church (Cornerstone in Caledonia). Overall, very easy process.
Kelli H. replied:
We used Mike Litchterman, too. Cannot recommend him enough!

There is a site Dave Ramsey recommends. I think it's uslegalforms.com. It's very inexpensive and easy. They send state specific standardized/fill in the blank type forms.

You can do your own and just have it notarized if you just need a simple one, like who gets custody, when they get money and who is in charge of the money. Go do daveramsey.com, he has forms you can download for about $25.

Are there any attorneys on here willing to fight for fathers rights specifically aimed at blowing false allegations claims out of the water!
Robert P. replied:
Agree Jennifer Breyare
Dan S. replied:
Your rights begin with the the US Constitution. No court has the right to decide the "Best Interest" of a child without PROVING a parent is unfit through a formal hearing. Allegations mean nothing. It is illegal for the court to impose orders without due process. If they do, you ensure your right to appeal in an appellate court. Please visit Fixfamilycourts fb page. Sherry Palmer is an amazing person that understands the system and helps others who are faced with the possibility of losing their parental rights. I gave my rights away unknowingly over 5 years ago, and now I'm fighting to regain them. Do your homework. Until every parent stands up for their rights, we will all struggle against the tyranny.
Sherry P. replied:
Thank you Dan Shafferkoetter Looks like we need to have a webinar on these false claims. I'm seeing many posts and hearing far too much destruction left in their wake. Unfortunately, there aren't any attorneys I know that know how to protect people fro m this destruction. So you may have to learn how to do this and either do it yourself or train an attorney. I have been trying to put information up as I discover it to help you with this juncture in your life. If you want to know where Dan got that information, you can watch this webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2 kanAwGuuw I will post when I have the webinar ready on false claims of abuse on my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/.../Fix.../324146134354536...
