Bernadette Carrasco I keep "Odor Mute" on hand all the time. You can find it at Mini pet mrt, grange etc. A white powder that disolves in water clear. Fill a pail, dip the dog, a teaspoon of liquid into the dogs nose to get the odor out of the insides. Odor Mute into spray bottle and spray surfaces the dog may have slobbered skunk odor onto. Walls, carpet etc. No discoloration from it. Works on cat spray. urine, skunks. saves putting pet into the car to go to the groomers. A small box is around $6 and will take care of 3-4 skunk spray episodes.

Perfect Pet Grooming on Evelyn. I have taken my dog there for years (they used to be located inside a pet shop off of Hillcrest on Lynda Lane.) My dog was the neighborhood "skunk Hunter" and wouldn't be bothered by the spray, most sane dogs run from s kunks. There is a mixture of 1 Quart of hydrogen peroxide, 1 quart of water, 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of Dawn dishwashing liquid, mix and wash dog. It cuts that smell pretty well. I usually follow up with a shampoo that has lavedendar and chamomile for my own nose.
