I used to buy pita bread ("lebanese bread" in czech) all the time at Tesco and Albert. Haven't seen it there in ages. Anyone know why? Or where I can buy it now?
Alison P. replied:
For sure at Chez Amis in Spalena. Also many of the Vietnamese potraviny have it
Hussein N. replied:
Arab shop in devicka (very close to tram station) has actual lebanese bread as in bread coming from Lebanon
Laura N. replied:
You might find it here in the shop called Farah in Myslikova 5, Prague 1 :) http://www.expats.cz/prague/article/for-foodies/farah/

Antoninovo pekarstvi. Laubova street. metro station "Jiriho z Podebrad". I can't guarantee the cheesecake but it's a good Czech bakery where they do stuff on the spot and you can watch them, eat their stuff, they also have coffee. very nice place. and tell her to check out the church, I think it's one of the coolest buildings in Prague. and the TV tower, once she's there it would be pity to miss on the views, unless... unless the weather sucks the same as today.

A Czech cheesecake? If you mean sweet "tvarohový koláč" it is difficult to buy a good one at 1:25 am. Tomorrow in Náměstí Republiky should be a [farmer's market](http://farmarsketrhyprahy1.cz/tento-tyden-u-nas/?language=en) (metro B). Pekárna (= bakery) MaM, Hostomice has a stand there.

Try "Pekarna Kabat", one of best bakeries in Prague city center. http://www.pekarnakabat.cz/prodejny/
