Evelyn AndersonI believe the Prattville Autauga Humane Shelter has a contact number for someone who rehabilitates injured wild life. They won't open until 11:00 am Monday. The number is 358-2882. You might also try messaging Sue Herbert. She has done some work with squirrels. Go to my Facebook page and she is on my friends list.

He is in a pac n play....with a heating pad...food...water...a cardboard tube he likes to run threw and a Taco Bell box he loves to get in and out of....his leg has not slowed him down at all....I received some great advice from Sue Hill Herbert and she also gave me the name of a clinic to take him to....his hole seems to be healing....he cleans it and I've been putting neosporin on it 3 times a day....there has not been any drainage....and it doesn't smell bad...so I hope that him keeping it clean with my help he will heal....he will not be able to use that leg I'm sure....and first sign of infection off to the clinic he will go...he is working on climbing up the side of pac n play...I hope he survives and we will invest in something a little more squirrel friendly for him....oh and his name is Tea Cup!
