I'm in need of someone who does alterations. My friend's wedding is in a month, and my maid of honor dress is too long. I need someone a.s.a.p. that can shorten it...

Hello. I am looking for advice about where to take a wedding dress for alterations? I will need straps added to it and it will need to be hemmed. Thanks!

Looking for a professional seamstress to make alterations on a formal dress. Any suggestions? Willing to go out of Prescott as well (like the Valley)
Amber C. replied:
I have used a lady by the name of Acacia. She's located in Prescott behind the Lowes. She does a fabulous job, is reasonably priced and is as sweet as can be. Her number is (928) 445-9757.

Anyone know of a reasonable priced seamstress? I have a small sewing project I would like to get done. I saw a sign on a place that does alterations located on Sheldon...

Darla Peloquin - Silver Lining928-771-9873 or dPeloquin@cableone.net She does all the alterations for Man at Leisure and several other stores in town. Great work and fair prices.
Okay, I give up. Where did Juana's Alterations move to this time? Anyone?
Kate H. replied:
FYI: I found the place! Elvira at Colt Cleaners (Fry's plaza on Willow Creek Rd.) did a beautiful job at less than a third of the price the mall place quoted me. I was told she has a following...not surprised. All the staff there are very friendly and helpful as well. HIGHLY recommended!
Sheryl S. replied:
The place at the mall, A1, is super expensive! They wanted $28 to replace a zipper and I paid $15 to Darla Peloquin 771-9873. By appointment only.
