This is one of the reasons why I retired to the area. All these nice comments and help. I grew up in a small town in Wi. Population 900. This area reminds me of home. People are still people and many look out for one another. Since retirement is new I still have to get a back up vehicle or a horse. But living in this area is worth it. And Martha Meighan I am a retried Electrical Engineer with a second degree in Electronics. Your Son has made a good choice. Wi. held allot of bad memories. I lost two children in a car accident back in the 80s. Plus my wife. We were divorced and she passed 4 years ago. I paid into Social Security for 49 years and one day I asked myself why am I still working? So here I am. Me and my two cats. This entire area rocks. Primarily with the people who live here. It reminds me of home and the way people were in my youth. My thanks to everyone who commented.
