Does anybody know if there is someone that comes round to your house to do a family photo shoot around Prestatyn thanks in advance
Can anyone recommend anywhere to do some nature photography? I live in Prestatyn

Angel Bay at Penrhyn Bay usually has a good number of seals on the beach, which with your lens (and tripod) should produce some good shots. There is no need to disturb them as you can photograph them from the grassy area overlooking the beach; the area is an public open space with many dog-walkers etc. I've seen 9 and up to 30 have been reported. At Rhyl Brickfields Pond I have seen a pair of kingfishers - now that would be a challenge....

Lilly you don't say what type of camera and lens you have so it's difficult to recommend areas but Coed y Morfa, you'll see lots of small birds there. The Beach might sound silly but you can practice on the gulls, big birds easier to capture. RSPB at C onwy, just off the A55. Rhyl harbour and the Marine Lake, also the beach at Rhyl, LHS of the harbour gets a lot of different birds. Brickfields Pond isn't too bad at times. You can also walk along either side of the River Clwyd, from the harbour end, can be muddy on the path at times but at low tide you can often see Cormorants, Gulls, Oyster Catchers all wading in the mud flats. Just a few suggestions within reasonable distance. Talacre Bird Hide can be good at high tides when the salt marsh floods, but you need the really high tides to force the birds close to you. It's a bit of a walk but to get to Talacre Hide go past the Pub in the village (I think its called teh Smugglers) and then follow the raised path to the right (away from the lighthouse) which will take you to the side of the gas terminal. Then follow the path to your left heading towards the sea and you will come to the bird hide. It can get really cold down there so wrap up well.
