Can anyone recommend holiday accommodation in UK where dogs are welcome? Thanks

We do offer a sofa bed but if you are looking for a 2 bedroom cottage and have no more than 2 dogs you have plenty to go at,it is when you get 3 or more dogs you become limited (I don't know why!). Most of the cottage companies are owned by Hoeseasons now and all part of the same group owned by Wyndham Vaccations, an american company, they have been buying them all up over the last 4 or 5 years. This means that many cottages (including ours) are advertised with all of them because it is in effect all one big company!. Whichever "part of the company" you book with they will have added their commission and booking fee which can add up to as much as £200 so where possible try to book direct with a cottage owner and you can save alot of money. Dog friendly Britain list adverts from cottage owners, also The Cottage Co operative, also Pets Stay Free, Luxury Lets,or just google pet friendly holiday cottages in the area you want, lots of us cottage owners have our own web sites now so just try and search them out, hope this helps

Think Welcome Cottages work with Dogs Trust, and contribute with dog friendly cottages? We have two hounds, most places that accept one hound once they know they are gentle, quiet, non barking greyhounds accept two.

We stayed for a week at http://www.chynhalebarns.co.uk/the-blue-barn - when we where looking most places would only take 2 dogs and we had 3. There isn't a limit on this place as long as they are well behaved dogs. We had an amazing time. Defo Dog Friendly and tranquil xx
