Homestead Vet in havertown I know someone who works there and they are looking to do that on dogs right now

Maybe check with Penn Vet. Since they are a teaching hospital maybe they offer discounts. They have an excellent Vet program.

Penn Vet is usually on the expensive side and, unless they have changed, didnt offer discounts. Granted you are receiving some of the most top notch and innovative care.

Dr Syken pennell vet Aston my beagle had the same surgery he did a great job

Brandywine Vet does the surgery and I think the cost was also around the $2000. Maybe they would do a payment plan. We didn't end up doing the surgery, she recovered from the injury. Also since you already had some diagnostic tests done, you should get a copy of those and the xrays so you are not duplicating costs. After all, you paid for them, you are entitled to get a copy.

Care Credit is awesome for situations like this. Our dog did very well after his ACL repair. He did well a year later when his other "knee" went out as well. Fortunately, dogs only have 2 knees.
