Looking for a vet who will bill me in fayetteville or Huntsville my dogs eye is swollen shut
Tina P. replied:
Dr Gailbreath is indeed awesome!! He saved our Bellas life..and he let us make payments...
Carol S. replied:
It is a sad fact. Fayetteville Animal Clinic used to be the all round best.Multiple vets. Always someone on call - large or small. Then the bean counters/IRS/whoever got involved around 20 years ago. Suddenly "small animal/pet" costs went through the roof because they had to subsidized the large animal /slash rancher/FOOD species to make the books balance. A rancher will shoot the bloody beast before accruing excessive vet costs with only a marginal chance for success. The rancher is still expected to "get the vet" but if the vet costs more then the animal is worth.....Lead is cheap. Horsey/pet people will cough it up or be expected to at all costs....or be arrested.

Don't know about billing, but Winchester Road Animal Hospital is great.

Dr Gailbreath is really good and will work with you!!! Dr Barrett in Ardmore is good as well
I need some recommendations for a Veterinarian outside of Pulaski. Maybe 45 minutes or less away? Someone with some holistic background?
Becky O. replied:
I can highly recommend Hazel Green Animal Hospital. When we were in Huntsville, we found them to be loving, nurturing and supportive of our pets. Dr. Heartha is amazing. An actual rocket scientist, but his love for animals won out.
Carla J. replied:
Nolensville Vet Hospital is a little further than 45 minutes but well worth it . Dr Barry Fly is the most impressive wonderful vet . Their equipment and testing is very up to date . I wish all people doctors were as good as he is a vet !
Carla J. replied:
You may have already found it but web md discusses Crohns ( inflammatory bowel disease ) in dogs and tells the foods recommended, Dr Barry Fly in Nolensville has tests to determine how the intestines are functioning . His knowledge is so impressive . My girls have had to go through some of this because of their symptoms .
