"Equating Dogs to humans..." that statement in itself reeked of a bias MR Lawyer. I deem dogs way too much worthy than 'some humans'.
anyone knows a good cooperative lawyer in pune? (pun intended)

Kedar Anil Gadgil, Justice in the terribly corrupt co-op courts is hard to come by, esp if it is a small matter. Unless you have some clout. Small complaints are handled by the Deputy Registrar of Co-op Societies in-charge of your area. Apparently, the co-op department destroys its records that are over a year old, even if the records contain complaints that have not been attended to!! In 2007-08, I did several rounds of the Dy.Registrar's office to pursue some complaints that we had made against our co-op. housing society. With great difficulty, I even MANAGED to meet the Dy.Registrar once, but he played a trick on me by pretending to look into the matter, and then satisfying himself by accepting a flippantly-worded letter from the Society that explained away its actions by attributed them to the observance of Maharashtrian culture!!!!! No action was taken against our Society. About 3 years ago, I happened to meet a young lawyer who seems to be an honest guy. My few minutes of discussions with him (NOT on co-op. matters) gave me the impression that he is an honest guy, which is a rare thing for lawyers in Pune!! (I'm told that Mumbai lawyers are more honest/ loyal, or less dishonest/ disloyal to their profession and clients). I specifically asked him whether he also handles co-op cases, and he replied in the affirmative. His name was recommended to me by my relative who is a senior high court lawyer. I will inbox you the name and cell number of above-mentioned lawyer. But please note that I cannot vouch for him, as there was no occasion to interact with him, after the first and only time we had a discussion.
