Dr.Stacey Waring. Loudoun County Community Services Board on Heritage Way. She helped my son out of control son and get him back.

I agree that Stacey Waring is good but I don't believe she is a doctor, only a counselor. Also if your friend has insurance, I would seek someone private as opposed to someone with the county. If you go to Psychology Today.com and put in Leesbur g, you will get a listing of approximately 100 with some background info on each. Years in service, fees, education, specialty, etc. I do hope you're able to find someone who is helpful. Please ignore picture below.

Sterling Behavior. They are in Ashburn. My neighbor works there and it is a great office to help kids.

Depending on the issue(s), you'll likely need a combination of "dr" and therapist. The therapist is the talker, the doctor the diagnoser and script writer. It helps if there is a routine working relationship between the two. Although I had tried pri vate servicers, with my teenager (who is no longer a teenager) we found our best luck at Lo Mental Health. They will get you in quicker, have emergency services and are affordable regardless of the insurance situation.

PS I like Healthgrades.com as it is a site that allows patient reviews + gives some background. I found my most favorite doctor that way.

Dr. Glick IS still in practice. He just works at a practice instead of working for himself. He was both my neighbor and my doctor when I was young.

Dr. Colleen Blanchfield. Full Circle Wellness. Best neurologist around. They also offer counseling at her office as well. If it is an issue that likely requires medication to improve a chemical imbalance send them there!

Kim Miller through Loudoun county Mental health (1 Harrison Street). She is extremely good with children, adults, addiction and depression/anxiety, etc. She is a God send. She also works very closely with the psychiatrists that are also with the Mental Health department there.

Dr. Glick now works in an outpatient clinic here in Leesburg. He does work with children, depending on the age of the person you're looking for. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor.

The county's Community Service Board should be fine. I had Dr. Novacki, and she was great. She did not over-medicate, and she is really nice. They should also have many counselors to choose from. Therapy and medication are helpful. I live elsewhere now.
