I am near Richmond and do a lot of ground work including work in long lines, basic manners, a little desensitizing, and ground driving. I train horses mainly for combined driving, so good manners and a strong foundation for dressage work are essential. My horses learn to stand quietly and respect personal space simply through positive reenforcement. I have oodles of references from back home in Minnesota, as well. Also, I keep getting messages about how I'm too young to have 20+ years of training on my resume.... I'm much older than I look (I was born in the 70 s....) so please don't dismiss me thinking I'm "just another kid calling herself a trainer", as I have been told several times.

We are going to be sending one of our stallions to Trey Hedgepeth next month. He's got a great reputation and we were very pleased when we met him and saw the facility last week. Should add that we are ridiculously particular about where our horses go.
