https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv6HsDRqZNk This is a great tutorial for how to take wither measurements and the shape/curve of the tree needed. This can be helpful for looking at saddles without your horse present. You will still need to test the fit because a back in motion is not the same as a back at rest. Good luck.

Maria K. replied:
If you are introducing youngsters to their initial trims and don't have any know hoof issues, there are a few good and patient farriers our there. Therese Vista is a barefoot trimmer and is very patient farrier. There are others so hopefully you will get some good suggestions. Dave Giza is fabulous, but know that you pay for his extensive expertise in the area of critical hoof care. If you have that kind of need he is the go to person, hands down.

Check with Piedmont Equine in Marshall to see if they'll go to Catlett. I know they accept Care Credit.

Care Credit declined me anyway due to not having any credit I reckon. I'll ask about a payment plan, or just try to keep an eye on it for 2 weeks or so.
Laura M. replied:
You set up Care Credit through their website. It's a credit card. Most practitioners have it set so you have six months interest free on bills over $500. You can search on the website to see who accepts it. I know Piedmont Equine Practice does, but there may be vets closer to you. Good luck! www.carecredit.com

If you feel the need to call a vet, do it. Care Credit is super easy to apply for and use. Everything you need to know is on their website.
