Visit Bikezilla in Origas Center for the Surly Nice Racks. Or Ibera rack in Gran Trail Makati or Alabang.
Guys. Need advice.
More or less done with my Troll build, except for one last part: wheel build. Now i've been lurking in all these global forums where riders have...

When it comes to wheelset specifically rims, most are marketing hype. The technology on rims hasn't change that much in the past decade or two. Even the cheaper mid range Taiwan based rims like The Alex Rims is more than enough for a regular dirt road touring. I'm using an Alex rims XD Lite, cost more or less 1,000 a pice. And is now running 4,000 KM, 3 Cordillera tour on dirt and only have to service align it twice. The key is to get a rim with eyelets on it.

I don't have knowledge on Circus Monkey pero Taiwan din yata ito. For Touring XT is preferred, bomb-proof. I know a guy that still uses his XT that was bought in the 80's. Availability of tools and bearings for servicing is not a problem.
