Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in Picton or Wellington to take my mama-in-law for her birthday?
Cindy N. replied:
I would have said the Waring House as Craig and I were married there...however, the new chef and menu is not as impressive as it was 13 years ago. We have been back and were very disappointed. If she is up for the drive, Legal Seafood in Boston was delicious!:)

Blumen, east and main, pomodoro, if it's on the weekend Norman Hardie does amazing fresh pizzas. Portobello is ok.

Hands down for dinner is the Merrill Inn. Their pork tenderloin is amen worthy. Blumen is excellent but I prefer for lunch and brunch. Wellington's East and Main is also better appreciated for lunch. However Angeline's for dinner is very county and very fresh. Waring House has a new chef and we will leave that recommendation with NO. And that is the nutshell.
