Try Emery in batheaston. I used to be a plumbing contractor and worked on a number of sites they were on as well. Always seemed very professional with proper oversight of things. I suspect they won't be cheap though

Peaky Builders is doing very similar work on a neighbour's house. They have no complaints. In general, most builders in Bath are just that, in Bath, and maybe I'm being naïve, but I can't see them surviving if word got around that they were cowboys.
