Can do both English and Western but usually start people with direct reining. Do lots of games to stimulate the young riders and help with balance and coordination while having fun. Jesse chase performance horses is wonderful, my daughter and I have been taking lessons there for about a year. She had ridden some but needed a lot of confidence and a lot of work building her basics. They have a great facility, very safe, good footing, a roundpen, and a covered arena. Their horses are wonderful and are all so happy with their jobs. Tack is always carefully fitted and well maintained. The lessons are structured and fun, we always get targeted advice that makes sense and there is never any pressure to move on if one of us needs more time to work on something. Jesse and Coral are amazing instructors. Stuff I have been working on for 35 years, they gave me new insights and tricks and practice on. It is wonderful to have those "aha!" moments. They push us when needed and know when to give us some time or try something else. They are both very supportive. We have purchased a horse through their facility as well as tack. They have given great advice and there is no pressure and we learned so much. We show with them on their horses or ours and have a blast. We are well prepared, confident, and have fun. And winning ribbons is always so much fun for both of us. If you are looking for a great barn filled with great people and a wonderful (drama free!) environment, I really recommend Jesse Chase Performance Horses. They are our barn family and our second home.
