Hello. I'm looking for a good piano teacher for an 8 year old. I would like the teacher to be local. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you very much.
Juline G. replied:
Chelsea Lovato is awesome and teaches in her home, near Red Hawk. I'm a private voice teacher and was looking for someone who knew what they're doing and is also great with kids. She makes it SO fun for kids and offers 2-3 recitals a year for them to perform if they want.
Jerrod H. replied:
Our daughter has worked with Ann Hepper for I think 2 years now and loves her. She's on the new side of Erie Commons by the softball field. She's not on facebook but you can email her at dhepper@infionline.net
Margit T. replied:
Ann Hepper! And if anyone needs a great Young Chang piano, let me know. Ann was very impressed with the feel and tone.

Can anyone recommend a violin teacher for a kindergartener?
Thanks! :)
Lara S. replied:
Song-A-Day Music on Rt 44 has a handful of instructors. Kerrie Wilson also teaches violin, my kids take piano from her and love it. She is in Columbia. https://kerriesjoyfulnoise.musicteachershelper.com Depends what kind of instruction you would like. Suzuki has loads of instructors at Hart. I would be happy to help if you need names.
Susan F. replied:
Community School of the Arts at UConn. I believe they do Suzuki.
