I'm the only one I know in Capo Beach, but there are a lot of good teachers in south Orange County. I'd suggest looking up the Orange Coast Cities Branch of Music Teachers' Assoc. of California online. You'll find a referral list and the city that the teacher lives in. The members of that statewide organization have degrees in music and offer a lot of programs for students (especially Certificate of Merit) that are very valuable. The odd thing about piano teaching...anybody can hang out a shingle. So make sure you get somebody with experience and education and is somebody your child will enjoy, as well.
