I tried all air beds, camp beds etc with no sucess I have a bad back which did not help matters. I then bought a fold up mattress from Amazon it is great. I lay vet bed on top to lay on and I am snug as a bug. It also doubles up as a chair. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beautissu-Folding-Mattress-Foldable-Anthracite/dp/B01MU8WQR2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1518434911&sr=8-1&keywords=fold+up+mattress&dpID=41 mKCqI3NqL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

Mountain Equipment self-inflating mattress from Cotswold. If you can get to a Cotswold store they usually have a rock-filled area you can lie down and try the mats on. I always used to get bruised hips, but not any more! If you can afford it there are even better mats (the original Therm-a-rest), but this has been great for us. They do a slightly cheaper womens one, the only difference is that it's shorter. You do need to put a little extra air in it, not just let it self-inflate. https://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/p/mountain-equipment-helium-3-8-warm-zone-D2424300.html?colour=98

I suffer from a bad back and am a side sleeper. I have used a camp bed in the past but will never again, the next morning I was such pain I couldnt run my dog at a flyball comp. They are way too rigid for me. Lesson learnt! I now use a double inflatable bed from Argos, the one with a foot pump installed. Load it up with vetbed and sleep on a duvet with a duvet wrapped around me too. Warm as toast :) http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6342494?storeID=121&cmpid=GS001&_$ja=tsid:59157

I used mine at Blenheim Last year, doubled as my kitchen and shade over the boot of the car. Can be put up by one person but easier with a friend.
