It's a Yale lock. Thanks guys I've PM'd ASAP locksmiths and Melanie mahabir.
Can anyone recommend a reliable trustworthy locksmith that would be able to come out tonight...like a stupid t**t I've locked myself out of the house!

Good news...the guy from A1 Locksmiths got the door open in a couple of minutes but only because I hadn’t been able to double lock it. New lock not required but I won’t be making that mistake again

Not the one who ripped me off back in April. Charged £700 to replace a Yale-type lock and a deadlock. Unfortunately the call-out was about 9 pm and I Googled locksmiths and left messages with various Earley firms and they didn't respond, but this character did. A big bloke, said he was from Caversham, in an unwritten Renault Kangoo, never gave me a receipt! It was a Friday at the end of an unusually bad week for me and I was tired and was simply grateful that he'd got in and done the job without having to break a window, or smash the door, so I didn't argue about the cost, like I would've done if it had been earlier and I hadn't been tired and simply wanting to get indoors.
