Any recommendations for a good local dog grooming service? Our new young man, Max, will need grooming every few months.

Brandt's bubbly barks www.bubblybarks.co.uk he's a mobile groomer so parks up outside your house. He's very reasonably priced and does an amazing puppy package which helps the puppy build up to their adult groom. I'm an ex groomer myself and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs now.

Dee and Janet at Hair of the Dog in Woodley are fab.

https://www.bubblybarks.co.uk I am an ex groomer and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs now. He's patient, caring and a mobile groomer so comes to your house. He is also very reasonably priced and city and guilds trained. My advice would be ring round a few and find a groomer you get along with. All groomers are different and there is no regulations for the industry right now so make sure whoever you choose knows their stuff.

Hi, can anyone recommend a decent dog groomer that is good with first time wriggly puppies? Ideally in the Tilehurst area. Thanks!
Sarah O. replied:
Jessies grooming http://www.jessiesgrooming.co.uk My dog Tilly (bichon x poodle) is a real wriggler and hates being groomed and Jessie is brilliant with her

Hi All, thanks again for the suggestions, went with 'The Hound Lounge' in the end. Naomi did a great job looking after our pup during his first groom - would highly recommend!
