JaNell P. replied:
We go to Dr. Lynn Mccallum. She has been our doc for 8 years and delivered all our boys. She's a great doctor.
Della G. replied:
Please choose Dr. Lagoc.
Pattie B. replied:
I've heard great things about Dr. Hu and Dr. Lagoc. It's worth meeting with a couple doctors and seeing who you feel most comfortable with.:-)
Dollie S. replied:
We love Dr. Grandaw! Go interview a few, you will get the mommy gut feeling, we made appointments with three and made our choice. We wanted to see the office, meet some if the staff ans meet the Dr. Time prebaby well spent. I'm so excited for you guys, such an exciting time!!
Megan D. replied:
We chose Dr. Grandaw, and have been very pleased:)
Does anyone have a good recommendation for pediatricians that take medical?
Leanna P. replied:
I am getting in with Dr. Carter per Stephani 's recommendation, but you have to drive all the way to Red Bluff. I'm going to do it because he comes so highly recommended! I know Dr. Villalobos who works at one of the Redding clinics and he's my second choice if Dr. Carter doesn't work out. He's SUPER nice.
Harper J. replied:
Check with Lynn McCallum. I went to her for Luci.
Harper J. replied:
Chelsea, I love Dr. Carter but you CAN NOT get into him without an appointment weeks in advance. He's great for your check ups but you will not see him if your boys are sick. They will refer you to the walk in and I don't like the drs there.
Amelia G. replied:
I've heard people love Dr Carter at Lassen medical of cottonwood. I think you can see him at the cottonwood office instead of red bluff. ..unless they only have openings in red bluff? Also, I know people don't like going to shasta community, but I've heard Dr. Austin is great too.
Angie P. replied:
Tre saw Dr Carter in Cottonwood rather than Red Bluff. So worth it! Commute wasn't too bad as it's right off the freeway.
Leanna P. replied:
Dr. Grandaw doesn't. frown emoticon He was our doc and I liked him a lot but that's why we're switching. I was actually on the phone today making an appt with Carter -- they are only accepting Medical patients at the Red Bluff location.
Well, now that I have no insurance and Healthy Families bit the dust my kids are now on Medi-Cal. My kids' pediatrician won't see them any more so I need a...
Stephanie T. replied:
Ummm... How do you feel about driving to Cottonwood or Red Bluff?? There are a few decent peds docs at Lassen Medical.
Stephanie T. replied:
Or also try Mercy Family Health Center.
Stephanie T. replied:
Some names: Dr. Ngano, Dr. Quintal, Dr. Lupeika.
Stephanie T. replied:
I totally understand. So Lassen may not be the best place... Sorry I didn't know:/... So try Mercy Family Health. Sometimes you get a resident but I know a lot if people who go there an are happy.
Michael S. replied:

Elaina S. replied:

Christina P. replied:

JoAnne C. replied:
Dr. Austin is wonderful! Shasta Comm.
Emily R. replied:
Hands down Sean Dugan at shasta community. Best pediatrician. And he works at mercy after 2. First and only pediatrician paisley's ever been to. Addresses all our concerns, rules out any possible causes if she's sick, and will give us a referral for any doctor/specialist without even second guessing it.
Ok Facebook peeps I need a good recommendation for a pediatrician in Redding
Jodi P. replied:
Dr. Raileen C. Lagoc, MD, She was Zeriko's per when we were in Redding. It has been a while since we have been to her. At times she was a little hard to understand, as she has a strong accent, but I felt she was very thorough, and liked how she was with Zeriko, I felt like she really listened to my concerns.
Vanessa B. replied:
I go to Dr. Lagoc but I think she is only taking newborns as new patients not sure. LOVE her!! I've also heard great things about Braemer

Korina L. replied:
Dr. Lagoc. She's great!
Stacey C. replied:
I'm scheduling well checks for both kiddos with Dr. Lagoc. We are finally eligible for health insurance through Brice's work. Yay! Hopefully she takes Blue Cross Blue Shield! Lol Thanks everyone for the help!
Ok my Redding friends, I need a new pediatrician/family doctor. Who do you recommend?
Colleen M. replied:
Dr. Van Mol/Julie Winters NP
Becky G. replied:
Maples@Rdg Family Medical Group. I can always get in the same day (with one of the doctors in the group) if one of the kids get sick and they have Saturday hours. Solkovits delivered Matthew and he was great, too. I've heard that he's not accepting patients though.
Hey we need a great pediatrician for our new baby girl in the redding area, anyone have good recommendations?
Vicky S. replied:
Doctor Carter is amazing! He's in Cottonwood though. He has like 12 kids himself and moved here to go to bethel. He's very personable, answers all of our questions, isn't pushy, and my boys like him too
Family Medical Group take blue cross I been going there 10 years and they never mess up the billing, they have like 8 doctors and a special waiting room for toddlers so the must have pediatricians there across the street from CH2M hill
Kelsey A. replied:
Dr. Braemer! I went to him and now both my girls go to him
Question for parents: anyone know of a good pediatrician in redding? And why do you like that doctor?
Jennifer R. replied:
We have Dr Hu. He always makes me feel like we are worth his time. If I take the kids in for something silly he always tells me that they are fine but he is glad I brought them in bc it could've been worse. And he always ends with if anything gets worse to not hesitate to call bc he is there. Another thing I loved was when Carson was in the NICU at a certain point the NICU doc has to take over but Dr Hu continued to come check on Carson twice a day then checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable with the care he was receiving. He remembers all our kids and asks about each of them when he sees me. Like when T was born and he came in to do her first checked has asked about all the kids by name.
I want a new pediatrician for taven im sick of not being able to get an appoinment when my son has an infection! Anybody have any suggestions?!? Or where I could just...
