Betty Jo-I've lost the power in half my house a couple times. It was a DTE issue. Don't call an electrician until DTE comes out first.

My husband is an electrician he said it looks like that outlet doesn't have enough power for what that ac is trying to pull and usually the plugs have a gfi on it but he said it doesn't look like that one does. He said you need a dedicated circuit for the ac. We just moved down to Georgia. I would recommend Bill Balmes he is very good at this he is a master electrician and he has fair prices.
