Thank you Jennifer Dobkins. I've actually worked with large dominant breeds my entire life and have a successful training program that deals specifically with these issues. I have references and a long list of success stories. Www.neumondk9.com Beware of others who talk a good talk but have very limited experience.
Looking for a professional dog trainer. Pm me and we can talk.

Lee with Pawsitive, she was wonderful with our two blue heelers! Super active, high energy dogs that honestly were both super ill behaved, and she handled them without a flaw! http://www.pawsitiveexperience.com

If your going to hunt the pup, do not take it to a regular obedience trainer... Call Larry Lee at BAR-LEE SETTERS, He's a professional gun dog trainer and has been for over 25 years. And the obedience training comes with the gun dog training... All the training is done with positive reinforcement and repetition. Larry is GREAT! I Made the mistake of going to obedience training first, and it was a colossal waist of time and money. Because some of the commands needed to be changed for hunting, that wasn't easy on my pup... Won't ever do it again, learned my lesson.
