Off topic, I apologize, but I moved in yesterday to Redmond (Bear Creek) and am in need of some advice from some locals.
Do you have a _____________* (*see below) that...
Carolyn K. replied:
Yes, I second The Stone House for Chef Owned intimate dining. The other one in Redmond for that kind of experience is the Sages Restaurant.
Kimberly O. replied:
Dr Lehocky at Redwood Animal Hospital on 87 th (near Bella Bottega) is great.
Jennifer W. replied:
Yes, Eastern Pearl Chinese restaurant! And if you go to Massage Envy in Redmond, I recommend "Cat" (Catalino). I'm happy with the vets at VCA Rose Hill Animal Hospital (http://www.vcahospitals.com/rose-hill) and if you have a dog, don't miss the off-leash dog area at Marymoor Park.

Garden Centers - McLendon's in Woodinville (also fun hardware store), Plant World in Maltby

And the Root Beer store is across from the Home Depot/Fred Meyer complex, just a little further down that back road. Massage Envy is in the Bear Creek complex. Brookside Dental in Redmond is my fav dentist. And BECU. It's awesome.
Andy C. replied:
^^^ Oh yes, The Root Beer Store. Definitely The Root Beer Store.
Carolyn K. replied:
Eastern Pearl for Chinese & Dim Sum on the weekends. Hugo's Organic - hand-made gluten free pasta, etc. Kanishka - Indian Buffet. Minea Farm on Woodinville-Redmond Rd for local honeys, ciders, etc. (weekends only)

I live next door in Kirkland. I will say that in downtown Kirkland (straight up 85 th) I go to a nail salon and get a full spa pedi for $15 (cash only) at Finger Paints. My colorist (also in Kirkland) is amazing Deanna@Bombaii. Dentist recommendation (Dad is a Dentist so I am very picky) Dr. Files: http://www.drfiles.com/dentist-in-redmond-wa-contact/
Andy C. replied:
-I highly recommend Maxim Massage on 160 th and 84 th. I was a regular client of theirs for two years and can't say enough good things about them. As an additional plus, they patiently listened as I rambled on about SCA stuff while I was on the table. -Regarding dentists, I had positive experiences with Redmond Way Dentistry on 160 th and Redmond Way. I didn't frequent them that often though. -While you're in the area, I recommend trying Ooba Tooba, a Mexican restaurant on 158 th and 83 rd. They make their salsas fresh every day, and it's delicious. All three of these are just north the QFC on the corner of Redmond way and 160 th. There's also a branch of Wells Fargo and the Redmond Library close by. It's a good little area.

Landinn M. replied:
Our vet is right by MSFT, Companion Animal Hospital. Open 7 days a week, they board, and are wonderful. http://www.companionveterinarybellevue.com/
Looking for a primary care physician in Bellevue/Redmond Both doctors and Nurse Practitioners are fine by me.
Hoping for someone taking new patients now.
mulletprooftiger replied:
I go to one of the Overlake Clinics whenever I need anything. The only off putting thing is that my primary care doc is in their commercial which is definitely weird.

I just called up the Evergreen on 164 th in Redmond and asked if anyone there was taking new patients and they had a few doctors who were. This was as of a month or so ago.

Dr. Chester Gall, Overlake Clinic

I really like Primary Care Redmond (http://www.primarycareredmond.com/). Their practitioners are awesome, I've never had a problem getting same-day appointments, they really take their time to get to know you.
So we've been advised to start looking for pediatricians. I'd love to find a doctor in the Redmond/Kirkland area who takes a more holistic approach to healthcare. I...

Sunita Iyer. She is a Naturopathic Doctor and also one of the midwives at the Puget Sound Birthing Center. She has a preventative-care point of view, but prescribes meds if it's needed.
Kristin S. replied:
We go to Woodinville Pediatrics too. I know a family that drives from Renton that goes there too.
Michael W. replied:
We are currently using Woodinville Pediatrics.
Kelsey C. replied:
Dr. Kimberly Kelly is a Naturopathic Dr and takes appointments Tuesdays and Thursdays in Kirkland right next to the Puget Sound Birth Center (her main office is in Seattle) She's been wonderful! Her first course of action is always natural, unless of course she knows that medication is a necessary first step.
Kara H. replied:
We loved Kirkland Pediatrics and saw Dr. Rashmi S. Arora, although our good friends also saw Dr. Kilburn and they love him as well. I loved that it was a smaller practice where we got great personal care - we were not just a number. One of the biggest ...See More

Chief of Pediatrics, Dr. Rob Nohle at GHC in Redmond! ;)

Hi Erika - So glad you are having a baby! Look at my Facebook page and read some of my friend Dr. Elizabeth Hesse Sheehan's comments. She is a naturopathic chiropractor and has lots of information about pregnancy and babies. Her daughter is 1 1/2 and she also does not believe in immunizations as she works with autistic kids and believes they can cause autism. Check her out.
Colleen H. replied:
Not Redmond/Kirkland but AWESOME. Naturopathic Family Medicine in Fremont. Dr. Tamara Cullen. AWESOME.

I go to the Evergreen Medical Center in Bella Botega and my doctor is pretty good. I also have lots of experience with car accidents and Joe is good friends with a lawyer, if you want legal advice.
