From what I've seen, your choices are huge clubs like Gold's, 24 Hr Fitness, LA Fitness, Crunch, and ProClub, and small crossfit boxes/private training studios. The latter have limited hours and most won't let you train without a trainer. A few highlights: https://www.proclub.com/ - huge facility, weight room is very large (think the size of a high school gym) with several cages/racks http://www.eastsidesc.com/ - crossfit box but with a lifting program too http://iron-works.com/ - no frills gym / cheap

This place is in Redmond, but it's definitely worth checking out http://www.eastsidegym.com/. For some reason there aren't any photos of them, but there are 4 or 5 squat racks, and it's open 24 hours a day.

I'm a powerlifter who also just moved up here. I work out at pro gym. It's spectacular it has all the equipment you could need. There are not many people here interested in strength training from what I can see though

If Woodinville isn't too far, Rory Callahan 206.235.2797 is great. He was a personal trainer downtown, but has since gone out on his own. He introduced me to TRX many years ago and really knows body mechanics and proper form. He has a BS in Kinesiology (exercise science) and taught Biomechanics at WWU for 2 years as a graduate student
