If you want a new water heater we used Hotter Water Heaters 800-494-1219 on a few months ago. They came out the same day, replaced our water heater, new stand, new straps, flex water lines, & gas lines for $1100. If you need a plumber, I haven't used him in years, but I remember he was nice and very reasonable. Ray James Econo-Rooter San Carlos-347-8788

We like All in One Plumbing & Drain in Palo Alto 650/777-5546. He replaced the garbage disposal. snaked the shower and cleaned it out and replaced the trap under the bathroom sink for $550. We used him in San Francisco in September.

We have been using Dale Pluming and Heating. Very good...even the German guy who came to work on the crazy tankless water heater we have that was made in Europe...he knew all about the thing.
