He also downloaded a Malware app. that I use regularly now, no less than weekly...it was free....I have had no issues since and when I do have a virus, the malware scan detects and deletes it.

The Laptop shop in Midway tried to charge me three hundred dollars for a new screen that I got done through samsung for 80, the reason I went to samsung was they told me about 5 days and after I called after 8 they were extremely rude. Which iPhone is it?

If your phone is less than a year old you can have apple fix it either at an apple store or by mail. That way your warranty stays in tact. If you have someone who isn't licensed by Apple it voids your warranty. If your phone is out of warranty then you may want to think about handing it to someone but don't let them charge you more than 90 bucks.
