Bling on Route 1 or The Villages of 5 Points, both considered Lewes. I had pedis at Bling for several years with no problem. I only left because my nail tech went to The Villages, so now I go there. Allyse S. is terrific. She's been doing my pedis for 5 years.

Super Cuts in Millsboro (BJ's shopping center). There is a gal there that does a phenomenal job. My son & hubby go to her. Now to remember her name.....damn I hate getting old. As soon as I remember, I'll post her name.

Jenn, I don't know if this will work, but Kathi at Stephen & Co Salon In Rehoboth [Safeway shopping center] has boys about that age and can probably do it.
Gail D. replied:
I don't know for sure. I would call and ask. the people at the front are very nice. I would specifically recommend Kathi because she has boys: 19266 Coastal Hwy, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 (302) 260-9478

Who do you recommend for Gel manicure in the Lewes area.
Amy K. replied:
KS Nails at 5 pts Kimmy
Debra E. replied:
Be careful with gel manicure. There are problems if not applied correctly. I had a problem at a "good" nail shop in PA and had tingling and neuropathy in my fingers. I always go to a full service salon now and never go to nail shops. Tammy at Village Salon and Spa in Five Points is fantastic and is a real professional. Marty and Chani are excellent too.
Debra E. replied:
This is why you need to be extra careful with a gel manicure: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/ConsumerNews/gel-manicures-harm-nerves-properly/story?id=11029335

Hi Kathy! I've hit many places in the area, and like NT Nails (in Rehoboth at the roundabout on the Avenue) the best. They do a good job that lasts and aren't too expensive. It's worth the trip!
New to the area.
Need to find the best nail salon/ individual in the beach area. I have tried a few places and wasn't impressed.
Also looking for a new hair stylist....

My husband is looking for a place to get a pedicure, preferably near Georgetown. In particular, to remove an ingrown toe nail. TIA!
Krystal D. replied:
I work at Beach Waves A Family Salon in Lewes. We offer pedicures and have a lot of male clients. Depending on the severity of the ingrown toenail, we may be able to help him out. However, of not we will surely let you know if a podiatrist is right for you! Give us a call at 302.827.4377!!
I can only speak for their pedis, but I really like Lovely Nails in the Food Lion/Concord Pet center on Rte 1. It isn't a "foo-foo" place, very reasonable prices, very clean, and english speaking. I tried several places and would never go back to them

I have gone to Bling Salon & Spa for a couple of years and then, when my nail tech moved to Village Salon and Spa Lewes De, I went there. Unfortunately, she has now left there and is between salons, but I am told that Courtney at Bling is very good.
