Honey Alterations in Lewes. She is very professional and make sure it's done right! I had a robe that needed a longer zipper. She made sure it was the right size, give me options and wasn't satisfied until the color match was perfect before returning to me.
Christine Fox-Roberts, are you looking for French, Venetian, English, Russian? Is it for a one time party? or an investment piece for reenactment? There are investment baroque pieces on ebay, also see Pirate jackets (there is a place in SC that does custom historical pieces). Baroque pieces just by virtue or their material, will be more expensive. If you have it made outside of the US, be careful of measurements (I would add a couple inches!) and be careful of your payment modality, so you have leverage. Have you tried renting?? Actors Attic in Dover may have something. Good luck
